What is Intuitive Eating?

It's an anti-diet, weight-inclusive, evidence-based approach to health & wellness with +120 studies to date and a validated assessment scale. Intuitive Eating will help you heal your relationship with food and your body so you can live your life freely and fiercely.
Will this program help me lose weight?
This program is based on Intuitive Eating principles. Intuitive Eating is a weight-neutral approach, which means that weight is NOT the focus. Your weight might go down, stay the same, or go up. This program is not designed to help you lose weight, it's designed to help you heal from years of dieting and body dissatisfaction. We will definitely discuss your feelings about your body and your desire to change it, but we will not be using weight as an indicator of success or health.
Why is the program 5 months long?
Change takes time. Reversing years of restriction, dieting, food rules and body shame will not happen overnight. This is why the program is not just a quick 30-day course. You are trusting me with your energy, and money. So, I need to make sure that you have plenty of time to go through the program, receive support, and get the most out of it.
How fast do I have to go through the program?
At your own pace! This is not a race or a competition. You have 5 months to process the information and work through the modules at your own pace. All of our lives look different, and this is the beauty of having an online program. You can fit it in your schedule in a way that works for you.
Is this program covered by insurance?
Maybe! If you have a Health Savings Account, you can ask if you are able to spend that money on this health program. If your HSA needs further information about the program, I'd be more than happy to contact them.
Can I join this program if I have an eating disorder?
This program is not designed for individuals currently struggling with an active eating disorder. If this is you, I recommend individual counseling with myself instead so you can receive adequate support and treatment. I am currently licensed in 5 states, so please reach out to know if your state is one of them and if you qualify for eating disorder nutrition counseling.
Do I have to pay for the program in full?
No! There are multiple payment options. You can either pay in full AND SAVE 10% or pay via monthly payments. If you choose the route of monthly payments, these payments will be spread over 5 months (length of the program). Finally, we do offer sliding scale payments for folks who need it.
I'm quite busy, can I still find time to go through the program materials?
Life doesn't wait or pause for anyone. You're always going to be busy. This is why all the modules are pre-recorded for you so you can work through them at your own time and pace. Many of my clients are busy professionals or parents with hectic days. We are constantly looking out for everyone around us, so why not do something to take care of ourselves for once?
I don't live in the US, can I still work with you?
Absolutely YES! I work with clients from all over the world, all virtually. We will meet via video conference and communicate between sessions using email. This guarantees that you get the same high-quality support from the comfort of your own home
